Privacy Policy

The short version

The NDIS Trust Index is a static reference site built by RefDat. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run a login, and we do not collect names, contact details, or payment information from visitors. The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to send us by email.

What we collect automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting and analytics tools record standard technical information when you visit. This can include your browser type, device type, approximate location based on your IP address, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site fast and reliable. We do not use it to identify you personally.

• Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage patterns. Google may set cookies to do this. You can read how Google handles this data in its privacy policy, and you can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Google AdSense: we display ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google Ad settings.

Cookies

The cookies on this site come from our analytics and advertising providers, not from us directly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not break the site, because nothing here depends on you being signed in.

Information you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and your email address so we can respond and, where relevant, act on a data correction. We use this information only for that purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to any marketing list.

Provider data on this site

The provider records we publish are built from publicly available government registers and business databases, such as the NDIS Provider Register, the Australian Business Register, and the NDIS Commission's published compliance actions. You can opt out of analytics and ad personalisation using the links above, and you can clear cookies in your browser. If you have a privacy question, email admin@refdat.com. We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
